This is recording from more than a decade ago with rather idealistic propositions about my world view and the things I hoped to achieve. Looking back, it's surprising how the integral message of my work has remained the same : [1] that the mediating role of the artist is a problematic one, [2] representation of the fear of the loss of the ability to communicate(represented metaphorically as a fear of silence); [3] the often nefarious ways society (and all those complicit with it, including artist) tries to convince its members that a set of at best dubious dichotomies form part of a set of given truths about reality; [5] that these givens unite us with nature when in reality, it alienates us.
