Erbium Laser Disinfection of Root Canal Complex

This video shows the use of the VersaWave Er:YAG laser being used to assist in the disinfection of the root canal complex of a lower molar. The laser helps remove the smear layer from the debrided root canal and enhances visualization of tissue remnants and is an adjunct to conventional chemical and acoustic disinfection.
