I might have bought one album after Duke but that was it. I have bought pretty much all of Gabriel's stuff--check out his stuff on Youtube. Some great videos. He kept pushing the envelope. I LOVED "Seconds Out" and wore it out in high school but they simply got too pop-oriented after Duke. With that said, I saw them sometime in the mid-80's or early 90's at the Greek in Berkeley and they did play Supper's Ready which had me reeling. I think most people around me didn't know the song.

This is one of the tightest versions of this tune I've ever heard, especially with Bruford's higher-frequency drumming, but let's face facts...He was an interim guy...Chester and Daryl are as big a part of Genesis as anyone in their history if not more so...

That has to have been the classic live line-up (due respects to Chester and Daryl). Really ballsy.

Thank you so much for posting this! I saw this film in on the big screen in 1977 when it was playing as the support feature to the Dario Argento horror film 'Suspiria'(I know, weird pairing!) and it totally blew me away. I have been looking for it ever since and that moment when the band's name comes on to the screen at the climax of the piece is as exciting as it was when I saw it as a wide-eyed 17-year-old... Thanks again and fingers crossed it comes out on DVD one day soon!

The director still has all the original film reels. It is hoped that one day the complete and uncut version of this concert film will be released in all its glory.
