Flyer451, it's an independent film. Of COURSE the actors aren't going to be professional, but they weren't that bad in my opinion. You said "put scenes of people walking down the hall for literally 3 minutes doing nothing but walking". Those scenes were part of the director's artistic view. You just need to open your eyes and not be so close-minded when you watch a film like this. :)

lol they act like people do in real life, aka NOT like a will smith/brad pitt/samual el jackson persona. This film is one of the best ever made.

Anyone who claims they dont GET this movie, or that it's BORING and a BAD movie obviously lack the intelligence and artistic creativity to GET the movie and appreciate it. nuff said.

oh fuck u BSPRODUCTIONS u think just becoz its loosely based on a real event where people died u automatically assume it is "beautiful" and "a piece of art" and even if he was trying to capture the boring feel of school it doesnt mean he has to put scenes of people walking down the hall for literally 3 minutes doing nothing but walking the truth is this movie is dull and has some of the worst acting i've seen in a long time

If you don't need to be entertained by pointless action and tiolet humor and can actually enjoy good filmwork, you'll appreciate this one. I liked it because I really see Gus' vision in this... to take something that seems as simple as kids going to school and then watch all the underlying bulls*** that kids actually go through and how it can build to something HUGE. It really is a work of art. Plus the cinematgraphy was outstanding.

This question goes to all of the people who say this movie sucks. What more do you see happening the hours before a school shooting. The film is loosely based on the Columbine Shooting. It was "a typical high school day"! The way the filming is done is to capture the "normal" feel and "boring" atmosphere of a "typical" school day. The film is amazing. And dissing it is dissing somebody who was making this film in memory of those who died that day. Some of you make me sick.

I think it was a great movie :) A bit boring sometimes, yes but the whole story is good ^^ Although I wanted to see more background on the characters :P I suspected one of them from the beginning. And I was right, haha. I have to say that I like "2:37" more, but this movie is worth seeing :)

thsi is one of the best i have ever seen. the way it captures the way alex feels toward all the people, and how it tells the story of all those kids. i cried. one of my favorites.
